Kids online
I've been playing Socom since it was first released and have noticed a steady growth in children players online. I'll be the first to admit that they're pretty good at the game but anyone who has ever played the game knows it is not an environment for children. I don't think I've ever been in a game where someone wasn't talking about sex or calling eachother the nastiest words they could think of. Not to mention the taunts.

What's worse (in my opinion) is that I see alot of children on after midnight central. What ever happened to having a curfew? Some of these kids are as young as 8. I just think it's sad and wondered if any of you had any opionions on this. After all, the game is rated "mature" and I think it's extremely bad parenting. There was a kid on yesterday who I'd LOVE to have his home number so I could call his mother and let her know some of the things he said.

I really dont mind the kids online, however non stop talking about nothing on the mic really gets me going.

and you are correct some of the things these kids say I would not even say. I had what sounded like a 12 year old saturday night drop the N bomb on the mic. NOT cool. the only problem is I have a feeling I know where they heard these things, self included.

kids on socom are annoying no doubt, but if you want to know what annoying truly is then play xbox live. all that is is a bunch of little rich white kids. while i meet more little kids on socom than i'd like to it's always refreshing to hear some more adult voices than on xbox live

I wonder if these kids even have any parents that care. Myself just turned 15, and my Mom and Dad are always walking by my room to see how i'm doing and they always listen to what I say. I don't act as retarded as the younger one and I am more mature than some of the adults on the game. It says right in the online rules that you MUST be 17 or older to play online. OR you have to have a parent/guardian accept those rules on your behalf. My mom read the entire rules before she would let me play for the first time.

You missed the point just as much as "Michael Bay missed the mark when he made Pearl Harbor", and I think you need to go back and reread his post just like "Ben Affleck needs acting school". (Team America: World Police)

LOL I definately don't mind kids. It's just a bit annoying when I join a room and I hear the following: (in smurf voice)

"Oh my God! Is that a girl?! Hey baby. I wanna break off a little somethin in that fine azz of yours."

And if you tell them to bugger off this is what you get:

"Please, like I wanted to get up on that nasty azz of yours. I mean, any girl who plays this game can't be hot."

Then they team kill you and continue to make fun of you with their hoard of 8-15 year olds until you just leave. Even if it's your own room. It's like they think they own the entire game and everyone else must abide by their rules. I've also noticed that they're the majority of people who glitch.
