Youve said in other posts you don't smart off etc but from this post youve shown me your true "i expect everything handed to me in life and should always get my way" attitude that im sure comes across on socom. I play with quite a few "younger" folks from this site and never had a problem, they act mature for their age and we all have fun. If i was your father and read what i qouted from you i would choke you down with the controller/mic cord (whichever was closer) and teach you some respect (ok maybe not actually choke you down but damn youd get a nice lesson in RESPECT FOR OTHERS, ESPECIALLY ONES OLDER THAN YOU!.)

This sorta reminds me of the whole "fake i.d." deal to get into clubs. Sure you can make one and get in but your still not actually SUPPOSED TO BE THERE (same as socom) so act accordingly because in both cases if you piss enough OLDER people off you are thrown out of both (socom and the club) :D

You sound like a concerned parent, would you happen to have kids?And the rating system doesn't say a kid can't buy a mature game, the kid just needs to have a parent around, and about the kid thing, yes, every friggin where I go to has a bunch of kids [6-14] all the time, face it, if we didn't have those kids, socom might be down to 10,000 players a day.

I look at it like this. Its a game we play it. I've encountered numerous people of all ages that glich and have a dirty mouth. I will say that the rateing is intended for the middle aged group. I recently started playing the game with my wife. Socom is almost as bad as a chat room. Parents are responsible for thier children and they show no attention to them other than buying a video game to keep them out of thier hair. Maturatiy level has nothing to do with kids as well I've seen grown adults pitch a hissy over something irrelevant and I was yelled at because "I didn't back them up" when I'm not going to get involved. I like the game alot and I have alot of fun. That is what the game was intended for as well as a sense of competition.

That is not true man you don't have to be 17 to play (offline) you have to be 17 to buy. You can buy it if your parent is with you thats how i got SOCOM2 my dad took me to eb and i went up with S2 they said you need to be 17 or have an adult with you
