I just started posting on this site and one thing I noticed is how defensive most of you get when the words noob and gun show up in the same sentence.

yes the m60's are noob guns....why? because people are mad when they get killed by one?....Partially yes. but mostly it's because it has 100 bullets (75 for 6a) which gives a "beginner" (for lack of a more offesive term) 100 chances to hit his ever evasive target. Im not as bothered by the fact peope are useing them but mores o by the fact that people deny it's a noob gun.....It's the definetion of a noob gun!

aww. the IW-80-A2. the answer for all those seals whose 1st thing out of thier mouth after each round is "WtF!? thats Bs!?" . The Iw is the newest Noob gun. My opinion is it's not a newb gun but rather an unfair gun......think about it....zipper really screwed pver the terrists.. M4a1>552 m4a1sd>552sd Ak105>ak74 ak105=or>ak47 m3+ta12g>12gpump M80=M82 Sr>sasr and finally Iw-80-a2 > stg77

whats my point? the terrists got really sodomized when it comes to weapons they make up for it by mines and breach maps I assume but the frustration of the terrists need to be focused somewhere other then on your dog or your 12th mic. they pic a scapegoat. I find the newest scape goat is the Ra-14...for the same reason.....wheres the terrrists Ra-14 the ak47 seems to be the closest. but they don't compare.

and yes skill greatly depends on any of these guns so If your thinking.. " the m4 is not better then the 552....I can own with a 552" yeah with headshots.... In that case if the best m9 player confronted the worst m4 player......I would be wrong...I simply compared how many hits tell they die plus accuracy.

I have no problem with the m14......both sides have it....terrists need it to even out. I only use it when Im really sucking it up that nite

ugg.....never use em....If zipper would make maps (other then shadow falls) where both sides had them.. I would be more accepting. there often unfair and zipper tried to feebly balance it out by giving the other side a Rpg launcher.....Is zipper on crack or do they like whatching socom fans reenact the battle of little big horn? in S3 hopefully the maps will be larger and explosives will be less effetive so people who love whatching explosions can satify themselves and the other side (custards force) would be ellusive...

Ok officially done blowing off steam and now im about to go join an lt commander rm and pay it forward to the 1st Iw user I see.

All I have to say is if you cant get your kill with your gun because someone else is using a newb gun you complainers then maybe your not as good at using your gun than you thought. If your that good then it shouldnt matter what gun the other person has. People complain way to much on this "VIDEO GAME!!!!"

the iw-80 a2 is not a newb gun, you just don't like it because your not useing it.

**** you. there i said it. i had the pleasure of pullin the RPG out on blizzard and subsiquencsially making the **** fun. that was th funnest game ive played in forever. why? beacause i did whatever i wanted and had a good time. all accept for the bastard who decided to pop in in the second last round and ***** and complain like a little ***** (i really am sry about all the *censored*'s, im passionate dammit).i now use what i want, when i want. so to all the losers who bought this game to use half the features read my um... lips.....****. you.

Let me ask a question? Are the ones complaining about "NOOB" guns complaining because you got "Owned" by someone using them? Did you ever think maybe that guy using the IW-80, M-60, M-14 or whatever is classified as a "NOOB" gun these days, was just better then you on that particular night. If you are killing them regardless of what gun they use then who cares what they use against you. Skill and knowledge of the game will beat a NEWBIE with an IW anyday. JMHO :D

Here's my view of this whole controversy. People who complain about newb guns are the idiots who play socom like it's Halo. Ever play Halo and hear someone say "your lucky you had the shotgun and I only had the smg's". These are the idiots that play Socom and run around like it's a mad fragfest. No tactics, no strategy, no skills. Run off the spawn throw a frag here, throw a frag there, round the corner with guns blazin and pray for a kill. It is my belief that socom was intended to be played similar to the Socom single player - with stealth and accuracy not guns blazing.

Heck, I play Socom like it's Metal Gear Solid. Someone b1tches about my gun and I'll switch to a pistol, come up behind them and take them out -Snake Style. Idiots are just lucky that there is no knife or melee attack. I wouldn't even use a gun. What happens from there? The "Noob Knife"?
It's about skill and patience. The people complaining are the rushers and they don't realize that they are getting owned by guys waiting patiently and unleashing their shots from a stationary position.

So if anyone of you complainers happen to see me on socom i'll use whatever gun you want me to. However keep in mind that I am master of the quick plant, 40 sec hostage extraction, and stealth kills.

ok an IW is a "NOOB" gun because of the low recoil. i dont like it personally because im no good with it but it doesnt bother me.The only gun I think is a "NOOB" gun is the M14 because it takes so little bullets to kill them because they are 51mm bullets right but a downside is the high recoil but ya.

I actully think the i dub is a n00b gun, cuz thats the first gun my brother used when he started to play, he wont beon terrorists now..........

i dont call them noob guns because noobs dont use them. noobs are smarter then that. noobs use the M4A1 or the M14. but the two scruby guns that take no skill, which is why they use it is

No Recoil

pray and spray

if you just shoot at someone carelessly, they die

fast as the STG (STG is very fast)

extremely good accuracy

M14

pray and spray

2 shots and your dead

even far away they still spray and pray and you die

your screwed in close combat

when your a seal its a pain to deal with 8 m14 scrubs

i dont care what you think. everyday i deal with m14s then Idubs. all they do is pray and spray. it takes no skill. when i use the m14 i get over 10 kills. yes it is on both sides but seals know that they have other weapons that can be used
