Yeah he's right. The M82 on the Terrorists is a bit more powerful. Sometimes if you knick someone it can take more than 3/4 of their health. But if you get a direct shot on someone you'll see the ownage. Both guns may be .50 cal but they are not the same in performance. If you ask me though i would use the M87ELR. It has that cool lok of tech in it. The M82 looks like something you would find in the dumpster.

One reason why i like the m82 more is because when you reload inbetween shots for the m87, your guy does some complex action. When im prone and in hiding i dont like to move.

Yea but that reload thing he does doesnt really give away your position. it is the loud noise and huge flash that does! And that is the same with the m82 also.

m87 is definitely a better sniper rifle, not only does it reaload faster but its great for quick scoping, and i like to no scope ppl with it in frost fire. The m82 has more range but is definetly not for a quick sniper.

UHH NO. The M87 reloads faster than the M82. The M87 is louder than the M82. The M82 is more accurate than the M87. They both have their strength and their weakness.

the 87 reloads quicker, is louder, and is not as steady and the 82.
the 82 reloads slower, is quieter, and is almost as steady as the m40.|

both ARE .50 cal, they depend on your sniping style for which one u would like better. if u sit there and not hide after a shot, u want a quick reload, thus far use the 87, if u move around and never sit there and just snipe and u can hide while reloading, use the 82.
