Okay, this is my first post, this looked like a good topic for me to reply to first since I get socom rage. The first time I expeirenced socom rage was in socom 1 when a grenade bounced off the invisible wall in blizzard and killed me causing me to throw my controller into the wall shattering it in to 2 peices. I went and quit saying the game was glitchy....
Socom 2 came out I broke my head set
Then my key board got crushed over my knee
Then i broke my controller port on ps2 by throwin the controller at the ground hard as hell....
So i got a new ps2 and headset and keyboard and controller everything was going well for about 3 months but then one day while I was playing my mom was cleaning the table next to the tv infront of the big window....and she droped the remote in front of the tv and i got killed so i kicked her out the window.

We all get angry though no one I bet has never gotton angry playing socom its just imposible. I myself can get very very fustrated but I never throw my controler or headset I usually just say WHAT THE ****!! out loud but I try to stay calm and realize its just a game.

One time in a war my mom walked right in front of the tv and just stood there talking to my uncle showing him the new house and I was like MOVE!!! I lost MVP because of that too couldn't get control of the damn hostages. Don't you hate it when your parents try to talk to you while you are playing or they tell you to get off when you just started a game.

Hehe, lol. You found a way to stop throwing your stuff on the floor and ruining them, throw your MOTHER out, even worse the window lol. I always get mad, just not to that extreme of breaking my stuff.

I just get a white knuckled grip on my controller and sometimes I try ripping it apart with just my two hands, but it doesn't really work.

The ish that gets me the most mad is players who are good simply because they lag. They are the guys who round after round, get shot in the head, yet the next second, your dead and they are 20 feet away in the totally other direction. Cord pulling is bad but at least you can tell and do something about it. The guys who just lag consistently are annoying because when you say something about it, everyone else on your team is just like "Sure. Uh huh." until the same thing happens to them, and then they start to whine. I'll give people the benefit of the doubt the first time this happens, but if someone is getting MVP for several games straight, and you can see they are definately taking shots that should put them down, it's time to find a new room.

Vice versa theres been times I've gotten MVP and definately noticed I was taking extra hits, so I'll jump out and jump back in again.

It's no fun winning if guys just call you a lagger - because they are probably right.

Anyway theres a difference between a player whose good because he has skills, and a player whose good because he has lag.

I used to get really pissed while playing SOCOM. I've thrown and broken three controllers, I've broken a headset from throwing it, I've thrown my PS2 before, I've put a hole in my wall from throwing stuff in my room, I've said things to my family that I've regret doing... I've done alot of ****. Nowadays, I don't really throw stuff anymore. I don't really yell anymore when I'm doing bad. I moslty stick to the "what-the-****-is-this-********" statements. I try not to complain, and what's been pissing me off lately has been everyone who sees the need to complain. I can't stand it. I hate when someone comes on the mic and starts yelling about how he died. Jesus, that is the worst thing to do when I'm on the same team as you. Now I'm complaining about people complaining...

One night i was sooo mad at Socom i broke both of my controllers. Thank God i had a 24 hr Walmart near me. I bought 2 more controllers came home and then like an idoit i stepped on my headset and broke it too. Ran back over to Walmart bought another headset and one of those stress relief balls to squeze whenever i get mad. It helps but every once in awhile something flys across the room
