Screw it, I'm not buying a new game. I'm only going to play the game for three more months - until when SOCOM 3 comes out. I'm 16 years old, I need to be saving up for a car...and SOCOM 3 and NCAA Football 06. I don't need to be spending money on SOCOM 2. I'll get over not playing The Ruins until then.

Static, our clan war map is going to be The Ruins for now on. Back when I had my old SOCOM II disc, I had a couple of scratches on it and I wasn't able to see some rooms that people made. It was terrible, for every clan war I had to make the room and there would always be people yelling at me for taking too long or for writing the wrong tag. Now I have a new SOCOM II disc and I haven't had that problem since. I think I'll buy two SOCOM 3 games so that way when one disc gets screwed up I'll have a back up.

Static, You might try renting a copy, just to make sure. But it does sound like it's new disc time. Or a good buffing/cleaning.

yea i tihnk mine is messed up too for some reason is never shows the end round totals at foxhunt. once the round ends and the 15 seconds go by i just lag for the 8 or so seconds and then pick back up again at the start of the next round. its really weird...

Blind, is our new official clan map really The Ruins? ****. Luckily, a college near me just sent me a check for $100 and they said it was for "refund for book." I have never stepped foot on this college's campus but I'm glad as hell that they sent me that check..so now I can buy a new game

Same, whenever I have to play Vigilance I play and have to abort to keep my game unfrozen.

It happens all the time at that map. I know cuz i play there alot. Its a 50/50 chance if you make it through the blue screen.

Same thing happed to me with requrem donno why but i cant play that map but oh weill its not my fav map.
