There was hardly lag for the first year on socom now look two years later. They are not doing something because it just gets worse! They gave up on us nos S3 is comming threw us out to dry!!!

Why does everyone post this old lag post, it seems useful but the point about socom's servers not being part of the lag is bologna. A bad host may be a problem sometimes but what about when everyroom has steady lag on a certain day? To me that isn't a host problem that's a problem with their server, not to mention we're all connected to the server updating our stats the whole game right?

Well Jimbo, that could be due to the slow frame rate on some of the maps.

ive never had a big problem with lag, untill yesterday, i started lagging really badly...it was the worst lag ive ever seen. i thought it was just a problem i was having that day and thought it would be better the next day... i wake up today turn on socom and its just as bad. does anyone know any reason of this happening.

Well I think that some of the lag is comming from the server and most of it is comming from the player. I believe that if you had to ONLY have broadband to log in, most of the lag would be gone. I hope that SOCOM 3 is made only for BROADBAND connections. I understand that it is expensive but hey you just paid 49.95 for SOCOM 3. Hmmmmm!!!!!!!

Have you ever noticed that it seems to lag more on smaller maps than on bigger maps,

DG, VS Fox

DG will always lag more if the same amount of people are in each room
