help me im at my dads house and all he has is dial up can i still get on?

If you are talking about Socom then the answer is no. People lag pretty bad when they have DSL, the people that are fine and running smooth are usually the ones that support cable modems. 56k isn't going to get you to far....

my internet gos down at about 9 o clock western time and comes back around 10 o clock. my cuzzin said it is probly cuz u like in a new area. but i dont think so i mean could it be my connection. i mean t1 should be running fine. i think its my modem. its a cheap one called speadstream by dsl. i wana get a new one tho. so whats the problem u think

I suggest getting a "LINKSYS" they are top of the line, i use them

i wish i could get on socom2 online, could somebody cantact one of my friends in the game for me, and tell them that FRAGBAGGERs e-mail account is ethanoost@sbcglobal.net, oh yeah my friends are mAcMuG, and #C!! With me it says cannot connect to server but when it takes me back to the main menu I try again and it works.

The same happens to me almost everytime I try to log on. Sometimes it happens many times in a row but eventually it will work. I wish I knew why this happened.

Try this:

When you go in to connect to the internet, and you get that blue screen and all. Go to a button, it should say something like, "Network Configuration" go in there and check your settings.

To be more specific, look for the IP number. Don't set it to random, make a hard IP number. If you don't know how to find one, PM me or add me to Yahoo chat and I'd be more than happy to help. I used to have much of the same problem, and worse

NEED HELP!

My brother is trying to hook up his second ps2 up in my house..

We are using a router and the connection is fine. When we test the connection the connection works and also when he trys to log on it connects but the DNAS is getting him for somereason.. He is getting an error like 612 or something.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Does he have any thing installed into the ps2 like a mod chip? Or Any other third party hardware.
