Whenever I do the "Fast Login" from the start screen it never works, so I reset, it doesn't work, repeat this process a couple of times and I'm fine for a few hours. The funny thing is, I just got this game a few days ago, RIGHT when the problems started up, so I have never experienced the joy of a flawless connection, but oh well.
When I get on, I get on it lets me sign on and find a room but when i go to the room it is "joining" for ever and then a little icon pops up and says MultiPlayer Join game problem or something like that, Whats that mean???????
1) reset your modem (shut it off then on)
2) Make sure all your connections are plugged in TIGHTLY
3) Delete your network configuration and make a new one
4) If all this fails and you still cannot log on, call your internet provider

i can connect to the internet for like 2 minutes, and always right after my character name logs in i get disconnected from the network. I used to be able to get on fine, but now it just doesn't work. I tried my socom 2 and it worked. help please.
Hi, could anyone help as i am unable to get online with socom2
I have downloaded upgrade and set up user name and password and even registered on website , but everytime i try to log in it sais login error user not registered!!!
When i try to log on to Socom 2 i get an error that says "The network cable is not connected" when it is. I called sony customer support and my isp and neither know what to do. I can connect to other games on my ps2 only socom 2 is giving me a problem. My modem is a Westel Versalink 327W and my isp is verizon dsl. If anyone has any ideas please tell me.
