I get up to the point where you enter your player name, password etc for the first time, accept the terms and conditions, the reply 'yes' when they ask me if I want to register my profile, and then it says registration failed, every time.

I've worked out that I don't need to choose another username (as when one is in use it says so), and my connection is fine (i've used the test connection thing, and all my other games work fine).

Is there anyone who has any idea about what the problem is?

It may be your router if it has some odd port closed that the registration server uses.

Hey guys--

Anyone else have this problem? The sound for the game will stop functioning after one round. It used to work all the time, but now it doesn't.

I haven't changed my settings at all. I've always used a router with no problem.

Any advice? It's really frustrating not being able to hear in the game, especially footsteps behind you.

everytime i get into the game (once) i am going to go to the next round and i have to wait like 2min and by the time i appear im dead. wtf? also i get to certain parts and i can see though the map and when i try to go through i get stuck. wtf?

ok try this one out for size. I have logged into S3 now since the first day it came out. I have a verified acct and saturday night at around 11pm EST i got booted. now i cant get back on, everytime i log in it says login failure. can anyone help me here, this is really odd!!!!!

when i ty to play socom 2 online it connects to the internet and gets past the dnas data but it wont locate any universes is this problem generaly ore just with me ?pls can someone inform me tnx

when i goto log in it says i need to download a new version. i do it and saves it and my socom restarts but that screen comes up everytime i go to play online again what do i do ?
