lol i havent played socom 2 but like twice since ive started playing final fantasy. Is there even ANY rumors of maps and whatnot in the future? I mean I know there is but any rumored dates?

The fact of the matter is that no one knows. IGN has been quoted saying that new downloadable content will be available this fall, but eh, who knows. Sony let the rumors fly and some of us fell victim to the whole thing until we really realized how the whole scam works. So until Sony pulls its head out of its Japanease asss, we're clueless.

Excuse me? You just said the quote was "there will be". No date, no information. Like I said, the only date I have ever seen (from a reliable source, NEO00000 doesn't count) was fall 2004. It's not fall yet. I said no one had posted that there was content YET. Not that there was never going to be.

Since there was no announcement or press release even at E3. I would guess that it will be quite a while before we see anything. I might even guess we would have to wait untill Fall to hear anything (that is what IGN said anyhow).

Hey guys, check this and please put forth some input. I think we have a fair chance in seeing some results from ole' Adam and Morgan. This is a letter based on asking X-PLAY for some research done on the inside, by people who have the access. Lets try and do what little we can and get some damn answers!

a new map is at hong kong metro.

it's part of the socom 2 release in the east. it should be dowloadable on the HDD.
