Yeah, there is still a little bit of hope. I've been looking around othersites, and reading their forums, and they all have had the same information that this site has. So hopefully, they will reveal at E3. There is another possibility though. The new maps may come out like the patch did. They could just be downloaded one day, who knows?

It's been posted many times before, so I'll make it quick. Why did you buy Final Fantasy with the HDD if you didn't want FF? Sony/Zipper and everyone else has NEVER said there would be content yet.

But in the short run, the HDD really only has one main purpose, which is to get players online playing Square Enix's potentially enormous MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game)

I can not find the link to the IGN? page where it said the expansion maps would be released fall 2004. Does anyone here have it, I've searched everywhere.

When was this Quoted? Sony may have cancelled the HDD support for Syphon Filter while making the game. Also, Yeah Sony stated there would be SOCOM Downloadable content, They never released a date tho i don't believe, the only date i got for the "Socom Expansion" is from IGN and they said it would be released Fall 2004.
