A number of people call it a rank up room, but I don't think it affects your rank at all. I checked a couple of them on the weekend and I saw people sitting there for a couple of hours (making different rooms every so often) and there stats didn't move a all. Since the game never starts I don't see how your stats could rank up at all.
Someone in my clan went to it and they were at about 223000 and when they came out 3 hours later they were a captain at 23300
you all have got to learn. everytime i go on the forum there is another rumor about the new maps. it is going to unannounced if they do (like the patch)
2004 E3 is definetly coming May 12-14. However, I dont know how relevant this is, but Zipper Interactive is not on the exhibitor's list. Sony and all of its branches will obviously be there so hopefully Zippers absence will not matter. Lets just hope we are given somthing towards this issue!!

Funny... I was thinking the same thing myself. I am getting a
feeling like it will be sometime soon already... but I could be
wrong, who knows?!? Could very well be a gut feeling from the
sushi that I had for dinner the other night... hmmm.

I have a neighbor who works at Zipper Interactive(people who made the game), and he won't even tell me when the first map is coming out. I hear in the game and on this forum, that the first map will be coming out of May 11, which i hope is true, because it would be a great birthday present :D .
