Online ranking system... raves/gripes

Just yesterday I lost my wings and am now currently ranked 55,000ish. You would think that id be pissed...no. My stats are amazing, 5500-3300 kill death ratio which obviously means i can play this game. But now that I have lost them, I enjoy the game that much more...getting mvps on a cookie name is that much sweeter, especially when people yalk trash about me not having my wings.

I honestly think R^ servers need to be deleted the second they get created.

I started a new name, after 4 or 5 days of playing, i'm like 300:175, and yet every time I do good, my rank goes down 10,000!!

this defeintly does suck, i created this new name about wednsday and i hace a kill to death ratio of about 526:313 in 56 games and im still a luetenant regardless the fact that i hardly dont get a 10 kill game and im stuck with people all the time that play like 2 games and go 2-17. on my other name my rating is about 15900 and im ranked 2200. its just getting rediculous espicially with this yoshi dude you totally cheated. hes played something like 220000 hours, yeah right. Its hilarous though seeing pretty much no original admirals before r^.

I still have difficulty understanding the rank up rooms. I do know how the Crossroads rank up glitch works, but I've been to one of the other rank up rooms just to see what the fuss is about. It turned out to be Frostfire being a regular suppression respawn game. Now how in the world do these idiots rank up if it doesn't look any different from all the other REGULAR suppression respawn games?

By the way, I DO NOT appreciate rank up whores. I just need to be clear what the difference is between regular suppresion respawn and rank up rooms (aside from the Crossroads rank up room glitch) since everyone here is talking about it.

Your score from a game should be avergaed by the skill of your"noob" players.
Ive played with such noobs they couldnt even get a kill.....sad....
and guess what the funny part of this game was.I was the only guy getting kills.Just really pissed me off.
But i dont understand the ranking system.
See I have 800 kills over 500 deaths.better than most not to brag and a good ratio for games won over lost.but Im still a leuitenant
How do i raise my Rank?
cause Im not a lazy player I kill for my rankings

well i think some of yall want too much too soon. i mean if you havent played over 200 to 250 hours i cant see how you could expect to have wings unless you just dont lose or die. it should be like regular military, you just dont get shyt you earn it with time in service and accomplishments,tests. this would also cut back on the 5million names nobody uses or makes to team kill etc. you should only get to have 2 names at max and go from there. im sorry im more concerened about gettin high overall stats, screw startin over . and ive got well over 480 hours in and mother****ers with like 80 hours have just recently taken my wings away, but like i say in game....

all you gotta do is look my name up, easy to spell and find, my stats speak for themelves. i mean if your kills arent higher than deaths and wins arent over losses and you havenet played awhile your crazy to think you deserve to be ranked high.rank aint shyt anymore, its the player controllin the character on the screen is what matters. trust me, you CAN tell who ranks up in rooms by how ppl play!!!

if you're in a game and you get booted out (but not voted) are your stats/points stored or are they lost?

yea i signed on and was ranked 91k lt commanderi play 2 games get mvp in 1 and do 9-6 in the other, i sign out and i was a ensign ranked 1 million 500 something. my rank just kept getting worse. then in the mixer i killed a vip and it booted me and didn't give me a reason why, i look and im a lt commander ranked 61k and ever since then the ranking for me has been back to normal

when you check your rank after kicking a55, look at your "rating" not your ladder position. your rating is almost immediate, your position gets updated later (how much later depends on how many are logged on)..
for instance, you check your stats after a game, check the rating of the guy immediately above or below you, your rating will be more/less depending on how good/bad you did...give it a few minutes and the ladder position should catch up to reflect your rating...

I know the 9-9 patch supposed to fix the ranking system but I some how became an ensign after I got the patch and played a while. I looked at the stats of everyone else who was below kills to deaths while I was 74-31. Not that it "REALLY'" matters i just think it's cool to brag about your rank to your noobie friends at school who play to.

Another thing my rank is below my clanmates who havn't been on and there stats are 0 for everything.
