Yeah with this rank up crap the need to put out a patch for it, Its pretty sad to see a lt commander like me whoop a$$ on these captians who r terrible. Dont Rank Up PEOPLE

I dont think the ranking system is as jacked up as everyone says it is. I don't think many people realize that it rewards you for team victories. If you beat the other team, regardless if you went 16-3 or 0-11, ur gonna rank up. If you beat a team who has higher ranks that u, u rank up more.

I will agree whole-heartedly that the quickest way to rank up is to win. The bigger the margin of victory the quicker your rank will soar.
The down side is the rank up people are ruining the opportunity for most people to get their wings. I got mine Saturday and went into a captains only room for some healthy competition. I was stunned to see that there were 6 rank up rooms in the captains only 3 room. That is terrible. They are ranking up as captains....sad. Earn those wings like I did. 3 guys from my clan are rank up fools, and three or four others from our clan should have their wings, but these idiots who MUST rank up by scheming and not by skill is ruining their opportunity to get them. We have clan warred with a few teams with most of them having wings and they sucked........bottom line I guess is rank up by skill not by rank up rooms.

Snake, that would be a nice idea. Make people actually earn their rank. If these rank uppers really had to try to "earn" their wings, we would be looking at a lot of butter sticks.....I GUARANTEE

Alot of people are complaining that they can't reach a rank of captain because of the rank up kids...I made a new name which started me out at 980,000 to see if I could get to the rank of Captain despite all of this hoopla over "ranking up." It took me 32 days of non-serious game playing to get up to the noble rank of 21,000. It just goes to show that despite people claiming they are bad-@$$, many of you arent. If I can get their with stats of 3,100-1,200 in 32 days total, then anyone who thinks they deserve a captain rank should be able to get one.

most people r^ so u never know if they are legit or not sometimes you dont even know by looking at their stats

That's not so true... depending on how many hours they have logged into the game, you can totally tell. Even check their "kill to death ratio" if that is horrendous, you can almost instantly tell that they're rank^ biatches.
