Yeah and added on to that it all matters about rounds won over lost u can have 100 kills and like 3000 deaths but if u have more rounds won over lost like about 600-1000 over lost u will get a great rank

My biggest gripe with the most recent adjustment is that I'm unable to play in the majority of rooms due to "rank requirement". That includes most people on my friend and clan list.
i think they should re-set the ranks in socom 2. like delite all the names. cause theres like 3 million (if not more) people registered and only 4000 of em' plays. i know this would really piss off the hardcore rank^ 's but i still think its a good idea. i own socom 3 but i like socom 2 way more and i still play it. :P
Eff the ranks, who cares, its a game, I play for fun, I dont really care what my rank is, I just at least try to get 1 kill a round and if I die, so be it, its not the end of the world!
i agree this ranking system is horrible. I went a perfect game once 12-0 and i actually ranked down to Lt. after being a Captain then i went a game with 4-7 and i actually ranked up later that week. i really dont get this ranking system if someone could please explain it for me i would appreciate it.
In most rooms, its hard to have fun when there are glitchers or people who pull there damn cord in a room just to get a damn kill. I believe that they should set more proxy stuff or whatever it is that keeps people out of damn glitches. That would make me happy. I really dont care about rank^s, what does a rank say? nothing...its depends on how you play.
