Sometimes if your mic gets on contact with water or anything it messes it up, also you could be pulling on the cord to hard, which causes the wires that connect the headset to the cord, to be pulled on and maybe a few of them snapped.Also never hold your headset by the cord, that does some damage to, always hold on to the mic when your picking it up.

Mic works fine in single player, works a little better online jsut sometimes i cant talk for a round n ****....Really pisses me off
my headset broke yesturday... i don't hear anything, i can talk only... And im planning to buy another headset... but sony headset are way to dispensive and i was wondering if any other USB headset works with the ps2... for example, a computer usb headset will it work on the ps2 and socom ??
Sup guys,Iam having some trouble with my mic as well,I can hear and talk,but people tell me that I sound like I have a voice mod on,when I dont have it on.
I dunno whats the deal,cuz I just bought the mic like 3 months ago.Can anyone tell me whats up with that?
And just so you know,I played in totally different rooms and most of the peeps told me the same thing.
