Headset Problems/Complaints/Errors

Wow, those are alot of mother trucking pages, so forgive me if this has been allready asked, but is there a way to turn the volume up on the headset so that it's louder? And when people say "Your mute is on" whats that all about? It's never happened to me, so yeah, not a clue. lol.

And if these questsions have allready been asked, just give me the link, I'll go and try to read some more. :)

the mute and what not only are for the logitech mics and what not. if you have a socom mic, then you wont have to worry about that. i believe that there was a way to turn up the volume in the mic... i forget where you do it though, all i can say is that it is somewheres in the options part of the main menu.

but when someones mute is on... that means that someone who has a mic with a mute button has either sat thier fat *** on it or accidentaly flipped it on.

ok last week I got my Comcast hooked up throw my moms modem and we had to run a wire throw the wall so it would reach to my computer the guy that did it said you need to get a hub so you can run your computer and PS2 at the same time so I got the hub and hooked theme all up put one wire in the uplink from the wall another into port and then in my computer and the last one in port 1 and into my Ps2 so im already to go on and play and my headset isent working it is only working sometimes but hardly ever is their something I need to do to get it to work all the time? if anyone could help me it would be great cuz my clan wants me to play but I can't cuz I can't talk to theme so if anyone could help that would be great thanks allot

First of all BDAWK01, you really need to double check your messages before you post. That was the hardest thing to read with all the spelling errors and the grammatical errors. The best thing to tell you is to make sure the computers are not taking away all your bandwith from the PS2. This can especially happen if you're downloading something. Try that, shut down all your computers and try talking. If that doesn't help try plugging your PS2 directly to the modem to see if that changes anything. I use a router and it works perfectly fine, but try shutting down or plugging it directly to see if that helps.

The best place I can tell you is to get it off of EBAY, there are usually some pretty good deals on there, so try that.

im just wonderin does anyone got a diagram with the wirein on it i got the logitech one with the bendy thingy please help me the wires under the rear piece i thing are messe dup but i put them all together and it still dont work btw i can hear but not talk
