Need some router help

Hey I just got a router so me and my brother can play socom together online. I tried to get online using combined assault on my ps2 but it said dnas error -612. I port forwarded for socom 3 but I can't find which ports need to be opened for combined assault. Anybody know?

or in other words i need help port forwarding socom:combined assault. i just cant find out the ports. any help?

or if there is an alternative solution I'd like to know

I dont know much about these things joshy but I would imagine it would be the same. Just my guess. I know Ive seen the info before....try the dedicated socom boards.

PS, I know my guesses are not worth much, but I responed becuse you seem to have been left hanging.

The ports should be the same. However, if you really want to port forward. do the following.

Open ports. 1-9999. That will OPEN all ports and allow you're PS2 to connect fully.

However, the above can leave your computer fully open.

I assume no responsibility if anything bad happens to your computer.

Or he can simply open ports 1-9999 and have it not plugged into his computer. Then just direct connect when he wants to go on some porn.

i dont think this is my router because its happening to a bunch of people i know...

when i turn my ps3 on and connect to the internet my computer's internet briefly shuts off it happens every time i turn my ps3 online on... i called sony they said if its wirless that this happened but i connected it to a wire and shut off wifi and it still happens to me and my friends.... does anybody know how to fix this?

hmmmm, im not sure. maybe the router settings ? anway port forward is needed for you and your brother to play together !
