I was planning on a rent before, but now I might wanna buy. Too many friggin good games this winter.
Demo was awesome imo, the camera rotation doesn't work (they should of released a build with that in it, to make sure most consumers find it workable), but the camera fixed locations are very good so line of sight never becomes a problem.
Was short, just two areas of fighting along with some "interactive" staged-events. Don't fully get the combinations and other moves, but it's still pretty fun. The L3 and R3 buttons were unused in this demo, so there is still room to remap for a jump button which is badly needed impo.

After a bit of playing it, I started diving/rolling (whatever you want to call it) a lot and that's as good as a jump I think.
Overall the demo was so-so. Nothing great, but nothing disappointing.

Well you can't jump. But you can do aerial combos.
Hold L1 and push triangle, then when the guy is in mid air, shake the SIXAXIS, or you can set that command to X which helps. Then Nariko will jump up and you can do quite a few different combos.
Just for those who are knew and don't bother to read the instructions on the demo.
Speed stance (without holding L1 or R1) blocks blue attacks
Power Stance (Holding R1) blocks orange attacks
And red attacks are unblockable so you have to avoid them.
Right when blocking push triangle to do a counter. And depending on how many orbs you have filled in, cricle does a special move.

I thought overall the demo was pretty good, I'll probably pick it up whn it is released next month.
One thing that bothered me was the screen was displayed in wide screen, rather than full screen....Is this how the game is going to ship, or was there an option to change it that I happened to overlook?
