I think when you sell a PS2 at EBGames/Gamespot, you got 100$ Trade-In credit. That means, you got 100$ cheaper for the PS3 including 499(price drop). Better buy it now.

Speaking from personal experience, just to let everyone know, there are three stipulations to this EB Games/GameStop trade-in deal...

1.) You must be able to purchase the PS3 at the time of the PS2 trade-in.

2.) The PS2 that you're trading in must be in perfect working condition... it must be able to read the old blue colored PS2 discs, as well as the newer ones.

3.) You need to have a memory card and an extra controller for the deal... don't ask me why, it's their rules.

Trust me... been there, done that.

I just went there. She told me I can get a Playstation 3 Card and build credits towards it by giving them my old playstation 2 stuff. She said I can get around $20-$30 dollars for my console. I asked here about the games. She told me it all depends which ones and the condition. I guess I won't be doing that.

When I traded in my PS2 console, I kept more than a handful of the PS2 games that I really, really liked over the years... I figured that I'd be able to play them on my PS3 in the future, since they are favorites of mine.

I even bought a copy of Bully on eBay for $19.99 (brand new)... since I never had the chance to play it when it was originally released, since my PS2 was so finicky on which games it would or wouldn't play.

I want to sell all the games. I've played them more then 10 times. How is Bully? I was looking forward to renting that but never got around to it.

Wish I could tell you now, but I cant. I'll post my opinions about the game in the "Bully" thread... still haven't received it in the mail from the eBay seller. It should be here (at work) today or tomorrow, I am thinking... I hope it's here today before I leave work to go to school at 2pm CST.
