I find it funny that almost everyone assumes that if life is found beyond our world, that current religions will become obsolete. I myself am not a religious man, but I do know that in the Christian Bible (using this because it's the only one I have read), it says that God created man in his own image, but it never says that there is no other-worldly life. And also, when a lot of people think of life on other planets, they think of animals, but they are neglecting the fact that micro-organisms exist, such as plankton and bacteria. So, the first life to be found will more than likely be an extremophile, and for those of you who don't know what those are, they are organisms that exist in extreme environments such as caves or in deep-sea trenches where sunlight cannot reach. Ahh, the magic of knowledge. So awesome.
