Infamous Circle dance

Hey fellas, I am just wondering what kinda patterns you guys use when engaged in a circle dance battle!
Do you zig zag left/right, or do a circle around your opponent?

When doing the circle, I never reverse direction, it just makes your opponents crosshairs easier to put on you.
I like to use football moves. Juke left, juke right also.

Also I have been experimenting with a ghost recon move, the ole hit the deck, quickly get up move.
While moving forward, press and hold the crouch/prone button and quickly press it again. This will make your guy START to duck but remain running effectively making you a harder target to hit.Works good on snipers.I havent yet perfected it cuz it seems you can only do it like once per 5 seconds it seems. But I think its only a matter of presssing the duck button hard twice. What other moves do you guys do to avoid gunfire when you dont know where its coming from or know where but cant shoot back instantly?

If you do the prone dive/get up thing you're talking about all that will do is make it easier for them to get a headshot. You're like shoving your head towards them.

When it comes to snipers, I have a tendency to move erratically. I'll stop, then go, then strafe left or right, and just try to keep my movements as random as possible. Makes getting to cover a pain in the butt, and sometimes that doesn't work.
As for hat dancing, I usually try not to get too close and move in a semi-circular motion, changing direction at random. I'll also tap the trigger to try and keep a tight pattern.

The diving and prone shooting works a lot better in firt person shooters than SOCOM. In SOCOM it's only effective at a distance. I usually circle and try to jump behing my opponent, although it increases their chance of a headshot. Lag can cause interesting deaths when you are behind someone.

I jump A LOT. Especially in gun fights because it puts my crosshairs more to head level. And plus it looks so dang snazzy.

it depends on how close they are if its a sniper at a distance, i dive behind something and wait for them to miss, then peak out and shoot them. If its a quick sniper i jump when they jump then move the other direction and shoot them in the chest. if its a run and gunner i just dance until they run out of ammo then unload on them.

I remember in the good ol' s2 days I would strafe fight, just kinda strafe back and forth. But in S3/CA you can't do that, so i stay in a crouch and swivel slowly so the crosshairs stay in and that works alright.

I notice vs vet players the dive tends to work okay if they are more than 30 meters away and fire first.
Vs snipers, I just hide!!!Or jump around like I got herpes!!.
rUN AND GUNNERS I just like to run up on em and shoot em with accurate shots. But jumping behind them is good but you always seem to get shot if you are to the leftþright and behind them.

i run backwards in random zigzags to be hard to hit while trying to keep my crosshairs on the target.

i like to move in the opposite direction of my opponent. if they move right, ill move left. and i slowly move backwards as my ammo runs low so i become a smaller target. and when im popping out of a corner and whatnot, ill jump so im harder to hit.

as for when im zoomed in, i strafe to the right. never side to side because then my crosshairs will be jumpy.
