War with Iran?

It seems we're getting closer and closer to moving on to this kind of situation. What does everyone think about this? Let's rumble up a good discussion.

Nope wont happen, we wont do anything with out England on our side, and they are allies with the Iranians.

But if it dose happen it brings up a lot of questions, England will either betray us or the Iranians(which I do not think they will because of the oil deals they must be getting.), We may get kicked out of the UN, WW3 could possible start.

Eh, I hope we don't, I'm really sick about hearing about the war with Iraq.

I kind of doubt that the British are going to be too friendly with the Iranians after that whole hostage situation.

That may be, but history tell us another story, oil/money VS a couple of lives.

Let me put this as the Iranians would.

BBC NEWS | Middle East | Thousands flee Oman storm threat

Finally, our Lord Jesus Christ grown tired of your countries arrogance and deceipt. He has held his breath of anger long enough and will scream his resentments upon your coasts of aggression. Jesus Willing. Your only saviour in the eyes of our almighty maker's mighty breath of peace will be for your country of dogs to loose it's ignorant stance of arrogance and covert to Christianity. Praise Jesus.

I would not be surprised if we did. After all, Bush once claimed the axis of evil was made up of the Iraqis, the North Koreans and the Iranians.

Sweet Jesus boy what in the sweet blue **** are you smoking? The UK bloody hates Iran with a passion. They have been up our arses for decades and the only reason we didn't have a war in the eighties was because they were already fighting the Iraqis. We have run out of patience with the Iranians because of that last little incident. They accuse us of straying over a disputed border, trying to use our own GPS equipment against us... and then don't return the equipment? They were lying, and for that we actually did cross the border and dump several hundred kilos of obselete GPS equipment on Iranian territory.

Its actually Britain that refuses to act without US support. Tony was told by George in 2003 that British troops were not essential for the invasion of Iraq, that we weren't needed. But British operations without US support? Perish the thought. You maintain our nuclear deterrant, use our RAF bases and we share control of the 3 GPS antenna things. Britain hates doing anything without US approval, and we even stopped a war because the US said so (Suez Crisis).

War with Iran will be conducted by the Isrealis. The US will supply arms to Isreal via the UK. Ground forces in Iraq will hold the border, possibly forcibly, while the IAF and Iran's super duper revolutionary republican air force or whatever the **** its called duke it out in the skies. Whoever wins that wins the war as air power is vital these days. I make it all sound like its inevitable when it really isn't... Iran might step back into line. I just think that is very unlikely.
