There is no "conservation". Nature takes it's course. There's no reason to believe we can do anything about it. The earth was around for billions of years before us. We will have no real effect on it. You guys remember the dinosaurs?

Yes, but the dinosaurs didn't build cities and highways, destroy rainforests, or nuke each other...

Only because they didn't have opposable thumbs... but I'll bet you if they did, things would have been different for those dinosaurs.

But if the massive amounts of CO2 cause an extreme raise in temperature... how would the ice age be possible?
We're probably more likely to have a nuclear winter first anyways, I'd like to see you prepare for that.

I don't see the difference, really. What are we, besides animals living in a very different way than any other animals? Deep sea fish live in very different ways than horses or cattle. It's the same thing.

Yea, but deep sea fish and cattle don't destroy the world at such a fast rate as humans. Plus they don't kill each other.
Humans use their intellectual brains (if you even call the people that run our governments to be smart) too much alongside their "barbaric instincts" to fight.

We're not destroying anything. The environment changes with time. Our actions may or may not be affecting it, and why is environmental change a bad thing? People who say, "Dude, lets protect Mother Nature, man!" really are only trying to protect themselves. We can't hurt nature. Every nuclear country in the world could send off 1,000 nukes and it would only kill off humanity (and probably most animals).
The environment would be up and running again in a thousand, a million, maybe it would take a billion years. But it would be back. And we would be just another catchup stain on the wife beater that is our world.

[hippie]Hey, man.... Talk about mother nature like that and you'll be going straight to hell, man....[/hippie]
I honestly don't know if whether or not we're facing an Ice Age, or even Global Warming. All I know is that I need to go use the bathroom, and I hope my Ammonia emmissions don't damage the atmosphere....

Higher temperatures melt the ice caps/remaining glaciers, thus disrupting ocean currents. When the ocean currents are disrupted, ice age starts.
