Thank you all for the vote of confidence. I just may attempt to run for president the next time. I'll fix this country up proper...that I can assure you. I'll start my campaign by outlawing food stamps to all immigrants who buy minimal food and mucho cervezas but yet have mad cash to buy hundreds of dollars worth of lottery tickets. I'll then shut down every store owned and operated by immigrants who allow immigrants to buy cerveza with food stamps and make paying customers wait on line while they give the immigrants their dozens of lottery scratch offs.
Keep in mind people, I have nothing against immigrants. What I do have a problem with is hard earned tax dollars going to cervezas and lottery tickets when these scumbags have 12 kids at home sharing a cup of soup for dinner.
This must stop.
Feel free to ask me how to solve ANY problem that faces our society.
My people, we have a chance to correct the wrongdoings of our past.
Vote Boba
PS I can cook too!

Yeah, they forget to include that the warming trend we are in now is about 4 times greater than any other warming trend on earth.

For every scientist / researcher out there that claims global warming is occuring...theres another one that will claim the complete opposite. Its humorous now seeing these conflicting reports on a daily basis.. Maybe its political maybe its not. Whats interesting though is Bush's complete reversal on global warming. When he first came into office he didnt care about it and said more research needs to be done. Now he's believing it. Must of seen Al Gore's movie... Knowing how dumb he is, I wouldnt be surprised if a movie changed his mind.
The fact is.. There is still alot of evidence that says this is a natural process. CO2 levels were higher during WW II. There are so many variables and data that needs to be collected..and we only have a smidgen of data compared to the history of our planet earth. We have about a 100 years of data.. which is NOTHING. Except if you calculate in the ice core samples from the arctic. Still, a 100 years of data is barely any data.
So...we probably wont have a clear cut view until another 5 to 10 years. But can we wait that long? Thats the big question and why this is such a big topic in the media these days. Even if we stopped all CO2 emissions, it would take decades or centuries for the levels to lower again.

I just saw an interesting article about Texas and its carbon emissions being more than that of most nations. This, is obviously a problem.
Blame coal: Texas leads carbon emissions - Yahoo! News
THis sort of stuff is what the United States should be putting its money towards: fixing pollution; not the war in Iraq.

What's wrong with the tacos? Why do people compare this to other stuff? Why makes it special? I haven't eat tacos for 3 years. I might try to eat again. It's good though.

I had to watch that too in Economics. We were studying how the polar ice caps melting affected the economy, it goes without saying that I fell asleep within the first 5 minutes since he seemed to be using more energy to power his movie than it takes to power my house.

What crisis? All I see is the world changing and us coming a long for the ride. A nice, comfortable climate is extremely rare in terms of time. It something like 3,000 years of niceness, 50,000 years of ice age. Then it repeats. We're overdue and I don't think us conserving energy is going to change that.
Bring it on, Mother Fu... Nature!

Conservation could slow the onset of an ice age. Plus, in today's world, we would just keep burning fuel in an ice age. That would keep pumping CO2 into the atmosphere and leave humanity screwed (if it survived) at the end of the ice age.
