Easily the most interesting movie I've seen a while. The information provided is just... astounding.
Moore stays clear for the first 30 minutes or so, but after that he's in the rest of the movie asking all the questions. It's amazing to see people from England laugh, actually laugh, when he asks them how much their hospital visits cost.

I dont know why...but people will still find a reason to hate him. Its usually the non-believers that just like to hate Michael Moore...just because he is Michael Moore.. I guess theres something about him that people like to hate. Just like with Fahrenheit 911..no one believed it, even though everything was based upon pure facts. Why be ignorant and not believe the facts? Is it because their friends said the same thing..and their just believing that?
With these documentaries, he's accomplished more then all of the republicans in congress have over their entire career.
Maybe if the people who hated him had to pay $500 a month for health insurance out of their own pocket..they may just realize the kind of Balls it takes to make a documentary like this. And to deal with the aftermath. Of course he's going to have a lot of critics. Its because he's going against the grain and taking a stand where most people would be scared to death to do.

I've been watching a lot of downloaded tv/movies lately at work. It's standard xvid stuff:
Full screen:
Solid quality.
But I've never understood the fueled hatred for him either. I mean, he makes valid points, and backs them up with proof. What more could people want?
Moore goes to England, Canada, and France so far (I've got another half hour to go). I asked the only Canadian I know, Otter, and he said the only thing that sucks is that waiting times can be slow. Other than that, it's free healthcare in Canada. That's nowhere as good as France has it... but I'll let you guys find that out for yourselves.
Also, the "origins" of HMO's is something I found particularly interesting.

I just finished watching ht movie a couple hours ago and it left me wondering what makes people soo greedy. The cuba segment caught me off guard, no one would think people in Cuba have free health care and healthier people then the U.S(and Al Queda). Also all of the government services that France provides (****ing laundry like really) to their citizens makes the US government look like crap. I know our government wasn't the best out their, but holy ****.

They were talking about this movie/documentary on the Colbert Report the other day (maybe it was the Daily Show). He was also saying he got switched out last minute for Paris Hilton as the guest of the Larry King show, I don't know if that was true but it was funny.
I think I will give this movie a shot actually. When I moved to the US I finally realised how good we have it in England in regards to medical stuff.
I have only been to a doctor once since I have lived here, and it would have cost me more to use my medical insurance to pay for it than it would to pay straight up cash. That's just retarded. In England we pay maybe 20GBP for a dental checkup when we hit 18, but that's nothing compared to here. I used to have braces (I know, lap the bad teeth stereotype up) and had to have them removed early when I moved here because the dentist didn't think it was fair for us to pay for something in the US that we could get for free at home.
A lot of England's medical staff (Doctors, Nurses, Surgeons, etc) are middle eastern and a lot of people think that's bad but it free, and I don't see a problem with where they are from so long as I don't die because of their shoddy work. I get here and I cant understand a word they say, they ask me whats wrong with me, and they make me pay for it. I literally paid him $150 for him to weigh me and tell me to play video games in bed for a week or two.
When he was on Colbert/Daily Show the other day, he said the middle class people (most of you and me) are the ones screwed most by the US health care system. Saying the old age people get Medicare so that helps, and the poor get whatever they get to help them. The only people helping us is, well, us.
Hope the download you provided works, if not I will go see this before I move back, looks a little like "Super size Me" which was pretty hilarious.

I'm up to the point where Julie Pierce is trying to find health care for her husband...
What I want to know is:
What can someone do about this? I mean, can you just..... move to another country? Is that an option?

(I haven't seen the movie so I might not have the full story)
It's very easy to travel to another country (England for example) to obtain health-care for free or almost free.
The only problem is the airlines sometimes don't let really sick people fly, so basically if you can predict breaking your leg a few weeks in advance, you can fly to England and break it there, thus not having to pay for it.
I wanted to watch this movie but I didn't have the time to find the download. I will look later.

Oh, it's easy to find it.
Here's a hint: .avi
I don't think I broke any rules there. If I did, then someone delete the post, as my "rule circumvention" ability seems to be lacking in effectiveness.
