Really? It "owned" all other systems?

To me, it had great games and was a solid system... but if it "owned" all other systems, I would think that it should be just as popular as the PS2 has been over the years.

I don't deal in Charts and Graphs. Most that don't have the PS3 have the Sit Back & Wait mentality. Alot of people are waiting for PS3 Home , A bigger game catalogue , and some crazy indviduals are waiting for the newest Socom. After the Holiday season things will change. I do think that this time around the 360 will always outsell the PS3 because it was put out first. Just as in the case of the PS2 1st / XboX 2nd . As far as the Dreamcast goes....If Sega / Dreamcast would've kept putting out games I would've kept buying them.

um, since when did Nexgenwars come into this conversation? We know that website isnt a reliable source and doesnt follow the exact numbers of consoles sold. Doesn't necessarily mean he is a xbox fanboy. He just made a system to autoupdate the numbers based on the occasional info released of how the console is doing. Just finds the average, and wallah! It isn't a reliable source. But it gives a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY ROUGH estimate on consoles sold.

500,000? You're nuts.


And I know it is updated by time, but what I was talking about is that he takes the true sales data (Well, true or not, the sales data that the companies release every once and awhile), and change the consoles sold per amount of time to average out how many are being sold. Once he had 360 up at 12 million something, then the next day after seeing some sales figures it went down to 8 million. He just finds close to the average of systems sold after a period of time, and codes his site to do that. They don't release sales figures every day so it isnt like it can always be extremely accurate.
