When you jump snipe, and scope in midair, you have < 2 seconds to take your shot. When you zoom in crouching, how long does it take before your crosshair starts bouncing up and down? Does it stay bouncing up and down if your crouch-walking while zoomed in? Don't think so.
That doesn't necesarily say if they intended it like that or not, but it explains why there is no bouncy crosshairs when in scope while jumping.

now your just playing dumb, after reading all that now you want to act like you dont know what an exploit is? better yet i havent seen any of the heavy weights that wanted to weigh in on this statement cant answer teh simple question?
exploit anything that takes advantage of a game mechanic that wasnt intentional.
example
socom1: the slide after being shot
socom2: third person night vision, thermal scope iw80
socom3:invisible ghillie, the ability to zoom while in mid air, invisible pmm mines in door seals.

Quick sniping is not an exploit. An exploit in some way, shape, or form, involves a bug. There is no bug that allows you to jump and scope, it just was not addressed to be a problem.
Exploits are when a player takes advantage of a bug in the game. Invisible ghillies usually happened by accident, so I wouldn't consider that one either. Jamming PMN mines into the corners of walls so they are invisible? Probably. That's taking advantage of the fact that the walls aren't perfect.
Quick sniping was just an unintended form of gameplay. Zipper never expected it to be used the way it was, obviously, but it is not a glitch or bug.

I'm not playing dumb, I'm asking what your definition of an exploit is. If jumping and scoping is considered a game mechanic, then can we agree proning and scoping is a game mechanic? Now, if maps were intended to be winnable to each team, can we accept that any one map being unwinnable is unintentional? Can we therefore accept that if you prone and scope on a map, thus making it unwinnable, you are exploiting a game mechanic to an unfair advantage in a way that was not intended?

You were able to zoom in mid air in Socom 1 and 2 also..so you should add that to the Socom 1 and 2 list.

As I said before, you could zoom while in mid-air in Socom 1 and Socom 2, therefore, it is not an exploit.
