Cant see Small in Game Details?

Hey. I just bought CA today. When i got online i noticed that on the game details screen before u enter the room, it doesn't say whether the map is small or just big. Is it a glitch in the game or did they just change the interface?

It's been like that since I got the game when it came out, you can see if it's supression or demolition etc...but it never says if it is the small version, basic rule of thumb seems to be if the room is max 16 players, it's going to be the small version, 16 on a big supression on like Killingfields is just boring!

I prefer small maps personally so I just always go for the 16 max games and I almost always get small supressions and demolitions.

Well I confirm it sucks...I hate going into a room with four people and finding it to be a big map room. People can't make rooms these days anyway, they always have sniper rifles off.

HA..that's why I don't usually go into rooms with only four people! lol I have noticed more people taking off snipers lately, they need to have more specific ways of customizing the weapons so you can just take out the one shot kill rifles because I will guarnatnee that's why they are doing it. I guess maybe I should stop using the Merc .50 cal sniper rifle on the door way leading out of the SEALs spawn on Killing Fields. hehehe

That's pretty cheap, that's why I don't play respawns...

While I agree it is cheap in a way (not like spawn camping), but anyone who has played Killing Fields before should know how to counter it, it's not like it's hard to figure out where it's coming from and all you need to do is go up on one of the walls and jump down instead of going through the door! PLus you can counter snipe from the SEAL's left wall with ease.

Look at the number of spawns on the map, before you green up, if there's more than one then it's most likey a big map unless it's a new map, but if you see three spawns then it's obviously a big map.

Yeah I know but then you get people like me and don't want to do all that...I'm lazy and it's just a respawn.

I'm not sure which is worse... the fact there are those that still employ this tactic, or that there are those that still fall for it.

Why don't you try filtering the rooms to show small maps only? Or, I'm sure the majority of people hosting smalls still call the rooms something like "11-3 Smalls".
