I used to get that error. Do you have a modem only, or a router? Because if you only have a modem I can help you.

Go on your computer and then start > run > they type cmd > then type ipconfig/release > unplug your modem for like 15 seconds then plug it back in and you are ready to go. To let your computer get back online when your done just unplug the modem and plug it back in.
