Question Lan or online? Socom 3
im sorry if this is a stupid question

But i just got my network adapter and got my network configuration setup.

So my question is do i use Lan or Online? when i did online i just got a patch up or something then it said my data my be corrupted, when i did lan it let me set up a game but i didnt see any i could play in. im using a high speed dsl modem. im sorry for such a stupid question

you want to use online not lan. LAN is for local area network for a bunch of people in your area i believe.

lan is when you wanna play with a friend. like you and like a few friends wanna play together, you hook up to the same router and go LAN. you want online to get the internet

You are going to want to use the Online set up. However, you will neeed to download the patch twice. Download once and you get the corrupted data, download again to get the correct and working patch. You will then be all set.
