I don't have 360 but I do have orig. xbox and Live, and I must say,it contains alot less retarded smack talking, alot more playing and seriousness, even if people don't use the mic as much...unless you're talking about Halo2 there's some smack talking in there, but Socom 3 and CA especially contain alot of idiots, whether it be racists, people who think they're hot Sh** or just cheaters. It's annoying.

Yes you are correct in your observation my friend. There seems to be a great deal of unnecessary aggression in socom 3 and Combined assault, and I too have noticed alot of racism in Socom (initiated by both blacks and whites). Playstation 2 online is completely unmoderated, combine this with Zippers' utter abandonment of its flagship franchise and you get what is now Socom. The only way I would return to this game is with the release of Map Pack # 2 and even then it would only retain my interest for a short while as I slowly began to get tired of Desert Glory and Blizzard. Nevertheless, I am awaiting its release. However, not eagerly as I am sure Zipper will once again fail where other game producers have triumphed with the release of bonus maps.

Hey if you have XBOX360 a game you might wanna try out which gives me that old socom feeling online is G.R.A.W.2 16 poeple to a room, blue team VS. yellow team. The maps arent as big as socom 3 maps but the game itself is good! even better when you do co-op missions!

No New Maps And Of Course Socom Still Sucks Disconnects From Nowhere And Code Nine Lag Switching Punks. I Myself Think That Zipper Needs To Concentrate On Those Disconnects For No Reason And All Those Cheaters If They Need To Have Us Start Paying 20.00 A Year To Not Have Cheaters Similar To X-box Then I Say Lets Do It. I'm Playing God Of War 2 Now So Socom Is 2nd If The New Maps Come Out Maybe Socom Will Get Exciting Again.

I just can't understand what the hold up is with Map Pack # 2. The Map Packs cost next to nothing to produce, thus, Zipper stands to make a decent profit off of Map Pack sales. Since all companies want to make money the only reason for the extreme delay in my opinion is incompetence .

Not to mention the maps were fine nearly 6 months ago when I played them.... I mean, look at them... they're nearly perfect:

The only thing was some objectives were messed up, like a missing control point, no bomb on dg demo or breach. Aside from that, it was great.

that video was pretty sick... these maps are bull, they are just to lazy, and they should be free! i mean, hell, i already bought socom 2, so giving us the old maps should be something they should be FORCED to do, :smile: :zippersucks: (make a smiley for that...)

my ps2 is at eb games where it should be.. 360 in a few days. If I want to play the new maps i'll go to my friend's house..
