Please Help with online account

Hey... I'm a little new to SOCOM

I want an online account but were do i register for one... i cant do it on the game or at least not that i know of... please help me out here much appreaciated lol.

make a name when you go online, and if it says the PW doesnt match then that means the name is already taken so you will have to make a new Name

Do i have to pay for an account??? I read somewhere u do... i figured thats bullonie but true or false??

You don't have to pay, but you must use a Credit Card to verify the account. When you login, go to Community. Once you're there go to Profile (or something like that) and it will say Verify Account. Click on that and enter the information it asks for.

The game needs the CC# to make sure that you're old enough to play (and other reasons) and it will take out $1. After taking out the $1, it will give it back. So you pretty much give them a dollar, and then 5 minutes later they give your $1 back.

Now if you decide to buy the map packs, that costs money ($6).

Agreed, but when you enter a user name, and hit connect. If you get a message that says the name is not registered, hit OK, or YES.
