Camping ( taking up a defensive position ) is a part of war. This game IS about WAR. So, why would you want invincable qweeers running around with weapons that do not exist?

I have been known to set up a defensive perimeter, just like I learned many years ago in the Marines, ( 1982-1985 ) and defend it against a sometimes overwhelming force. Like I said, to me, and many others, this is a game about war, not a game about what kind od of childisg bullchit you can come up with.

I love going against campers, with a skilled team alongside me, we can over run them. Try using skill, and basic tatics to deal with campers. You might surprise yourself.

If anything, camping increases the game attraction. the only ones who bytch about them, are the guys that think the only thing good about the game is quicksniping ( can't do too well QSing campers, huh!? LMFAO !) and the young guys that feel the need to get the round over with ASAP. Not everyone likies to run out and die in the 1st 30 seconds...

Yeah, so, junior, pull your pants back up, and learn to overcome campers using superior skill.

Don't double post, there's a thing called an editing your post and learn to block out your swear words instead of trying to cover them up.

You're right this is a war game but the key word is GAME. It's real fun (that's what your suppost to do in games is to have fun) waiting and waiting for people to move 2 inches when people are ahead by 5 guys that can't go out and kill one person. Nobody said anything about QSers either (and if you think QSing is a glitch please sit on a knife). I also QS aginst campers all the time as it's not hard. You also don't have to rush out in the first 30 seconds and die to not camp. I myself take my time through the round and don't die that often. Also, please tell me how camping make this game more attracting how when S3 first came out there had to be at least 40,000 people online and now there's only about 20,000 or so on.

Well, how can you even begin to think campers were accounting for a 50% drop? Did it ever cross your mind that maybe folks were tired clowns shooting up from under the maps, going outside of the small maps, proxying thru walls, and now, the codes, and mod disks?? You gotta either be hard heaed or just plain stupid to think this has nothing to do with it, and camping does.

1st off, EVERY online game begins hot, and then fades out after the newness is gone.

Oh..I must have touched a sore spot about QS pukes. No, it isn't a glitch. So, there.. But, it is a cheap way to get kills. I know, because I learned it in S2, and still do it in repawns. QSing in ranked rooms is plain punk. Period. So, if you think QSing NOT a cheap way to get kills, well, using your terms, but modified slightly, I have something for you to fall on, azz first.

Just because somebody has a differing opinion than you, does not make me wrong. I never said I was right, but, I posted my honest thoughts on the state of the game, and you take offence to it? Were are you, China or N. Korea?? Here in the US, we have differing opinions, and the freedom to express them. You must really be a swell guy.

Right. But, in S3, you could get under maps, outside of small maps, you know the drill. And, that has been since day one. Codes will make it worse. I play a butt load of SOCOM, have been online since the 1st week of S1. Never, have I left, or heard of anyone not playing because of campers. But, I have seen many, many times guys leave because of cheating.

I posted my opinions too just like you. Freed is right too, the drop in the people playing happened before the codes were out. Camping with a ghillie is a cheap way to get kills also and QSing is too, I won't agrue that.

Code 9ers and stuff: Scum of the earth. stab all of them in the neck. A camper on socom should be entitled to 100 times the respect of these rejects.

Campers: need to realize that the damn game is supposed to be fun, and that what they do is making it dull and boring.

Quicksniping: Is not a glitch, is not cheap. It's unrealistic yes, effective yes, but it is tough to learn to do and the world needs to get used to it. I would not be hurt at all if a patch came out that somehow made it impossible, but I don't hate on QSers like a ton of retards I meet. How is it that jumping back and forth while trying to hit people with a weapon that kills in one hit but takes nearly 2 seconds to reload cheap, when I could just as easily do it with a weapon that takes 2 shots to kill and is automatic?

You probably could do that from day one, but nobody knew how, and didn't start until about a week after the game came out and after about 10k people had already stopped playing.
