That reminds me of something....Jeff Feagles is probably the only player on the Giants that I am not ashamed to talk about, but too bad he's only the punter. Maybe he could take some online courses and appear on defense next week for the Giants.

Someone needs to step up on that defense... you know you're in trouble when Brett Favre is picking the defense apart like he used to be able to do at will about 8 to 10 years ago.

T.O. fined again

T.O. fined 'thousands' for mock videotape TD celebration - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

Quote:
After seeing the videotape of Terrell Owens' latest touchdown celebration, the NFL office wasn't laughing.

Owens said Wednesday he was fined "a good chunk of money" -- which he later defined as thousands of dollars -- for a celebration that included him using the goal post and football to poke fun at the New England Patriots' spying scandal during Dallas' 37-20 victory over Miami this past Sunday.

A league spokesman said the fine was $7,500.

"It wasn't even the fact I used the goal post as a prop," Owens said. "They said I used the ball."

Beyond being confused about what he can and can't do, Owens is frustrated by the league's policing of end-zone scenes.
He really needs to be smarter with his celebrations. After a few times, Chad Johnson started doing celebrations off the field of play (primarily on the sideline) to most avoid team penalties. But I never heard anything about a fine for the Future H.O.F. jacket.

Everyone has been saying that Favre has returned to his "younger" form, but I think you really just stated the reason why he had such a great game. He played against a Giants defense that has absolutely no idea what they are doing. I'm not saying Favre isn't going to have a great season (he still isl one of the greatest to play), but once he starts picking apart teams that have a respectable defense, then I will give him 100% of the credit. I think part of his success on Sunday was in part the Giants doing.

I saw that celebration that he did. Although the league may not like it, and I'm not a big fan of T.O., the celebration got a bit of a chuckle out of me.

Big news. Everett could be standing and/or walking next week.

Doctor says Bills' Kevin Everett will attempt to stand on his own soon - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

Quote:
Kevin Everett's doctor plans to have him stand up on his own soon, and believes the Bills tight end will be walking within weeks -- or sooner.

"Soon, in Buffalo or in Houston, they're going to stand him up," Dr. Barth Green told The Associated Press, shortly after discussing Everett's condition with Bills orthopedic surgeon Dr. Andrew Cappuccino. "They're very confident he'll be walking very soon ... in the next days or weeks, not months."
The last sentence in that second paragraph is huge. It would be nothing short of a miracle for Everett to walk, let alone stand, two weeks after dislocating and fracturing his spine.

Green Bay is 3-0. They just beat the Chargers 31-24. What a miracle year for Favre so far. Amazing.

Last year all the announcers were joking that he should just retire already.

That was an awesome game, I didn't see the big TD because my dad is flippin between the Cubs, Brewers, and Packers game, and all three of the teams that they have beat were in the playoffs last year. The Pack is looking really good this year.
