Goodell suspended players and assistant coaches for cheating with HGH and Roids. How can you NOT suspend a head coach for cheating? Double standard IMO

Because I'm sure there have been others who have done the same kind of thing... Belichick is just the first one who got caught red handed. Besides, it's not just Belichick that was doing the spying... what should Goodell have done? Suspended the entire Patriots' coaching staff? That'd never happen.
Belichick was made an example of by Goodell... end of story. Any further violations like this, and I'd be willing to bet that the punishment will me much more severe.

You are right it probably was a widespread issue throughout the NFL, hence the specific warning this off-season to all teams. It seems pretty arrogant for anyone to ignore that warning and continue the practice. New England deserves to be penalized, and yes, if it's found out Buffalo or any other team did it this year, they should be penalized also. Although, only the most arrogant (or stupid) would not have destroyed any video evidence by now.
But that was a slap on the wrist. Jeeze if that is the punishment the Bills need to start cheating.

Supsending Bellichick would've have been more trouble than it was worth. It would've put a bigger magnifying glass over the situation than it has now. Bellichick still would've had some involvement coaching the game on Sunday. I also think who they are playing has something to do with it also. And then there's the fact that Robert Kraft is golfing buddies with Roger Goodell. Until the end of the season where going to hear " Well What If ? " Because of this incident Bellichick's days in New England are now numbered.
With 3 Super Bowls and a predicted 4th on the way, I'm all about the Patriots being distracted & then dismantled.

I doubt Kraft would get rid of Bellichick, the people in NE still love him and are just looking the other way, as if he never cheated.

Not to a guy making millions the past several years of his life.
I wonder, is Eli is going to start for the Giants again Sunday? The Giants were definitely decimated with injuries this past week, losing Eli, Jacobs, and Umenyori.

How was it a slap on the wrist? If he gets suspended then he gets suspended..it's shortlived and shortly after goes away. With the fine he/they got and losing their 1st draft pick, it's much more longstanding than just getting suspended.

What? A suspension would hurt the team more then losing a first round pick, they already have another first round pick so that just about nullifies the one they lost. And a fine is nothing. That guy has been making millions for a while now. And I bet Kraft wrote the check for him anyways.
