And that means nothing. It wasn't a big surgery, it was a minor arthroscopic surgery. All they did was scrape some bad cartilage out of his knee, that took all of ~15 minutes.

Surgery is surgery, in my book... he was cut open, doctors fumbled around inside of his skin and did stuff, and he got stitched back up... not to mention, he probably got some sort of pain killer/reducer.

If you ask me, Rivers went up a notch or two in my book after I heard that he played in a game that soon after the procedure... especially in this day and age of the NFL...

Skins fire Gregg Williams and Al Saunders.

That organization is the poster child for why you want to have some continuity. They spend money like a drunken sailor and have two wild card appearances to show for it. Now I know I as Bills fans would take that at this point, but here was a team that looked to be progressing and now they will take 2 years, at the least to get back where they were.

So, yeah. Bengals signed Carson's younger brother. 2008 seems to be Cincinnati's year to pull people away from the fancy suits and ESPN desks. Dusty first, now Jordan.

Everyone is going to be saying that if the Giants hold on.

But the Giants defense has just been playing that good. Holding the Pats to 7 points through 3 and a half quarters. No one else has been able to do that.
