The Bengals don't need to draft anyone to play in the secondary. They're set for about 15 years (assuming everyone resigns). The last few games the future (as in starting in 08 ) DBs played and impressed me.
CB - Jonathan Joseph - 1 year experience
CB - Leon Hall - Rookie
S - Chinendum Ndukwe - Rookie
S - Marvin White - Rookie
Yeah, they're set. Just need some backups. They really need to get a pass rusher. Too bad the teams ahead of the Bengals won't let Glenn Dorsey pass.
I don't think Justin Smith is resigning, so there goes our best DE.
Peko and Thornton should still be at DT. Neither are great pass rushers, but they're physical at the line, especially Peko for only having a year (now 2) of experience.
I'm not sure about Geathers, but I think his contract is up. There was a lot of talk about the backup DEs getting playing time.
Linebackers are fine as long as they stay healthy. It'll be nice if O'dell Thurman gets his suspension lifted. He played great his rookie year and has suspended for the last 2.
Offense is set, as we already know. All the rumors about a Chad Johnson trade are just that, rumors. It's already come out of the front office that Ocho Cinco is staying. Chris Henry should be playing all 16 games, barring any incidents during the off-season. If Palmer can get his interceptions down (career high 19 this year) it should look like the offense of 2005. I also say they stick with back by committee with Rudi, Watson and Dorsey.
