zipper didnt forget about us, they simply dont have the man power to work on 3 games at one time. So they work on deadlines for s4 because that launch is priority if they have time they work on s3 products. S4 holds so much weight becaust it will be the premiere online game for ps3, and they have alot ot lose with that. Testing and working out the bugs for the map pack2 isnt as simple *** it seems, if they didnt remodel the whole thing they have to change alot of the coding to accomidate the new s3 code and ca code and update the effects. The point of this is , I dont think they forgot about us just socom3 isnt on top of there priority list.

They forgot about us (classic socom fans) when they came out with socom 3.
And to the post above, Resistance is the premier Ps3 online title not socom 4.

I do agree that they did kinda slack off on Socom when part 3 came out. It's so sad because I like many others used to be hooked on Socrack. But almost as soon as I got into it I got out of it. I also however do agree with Spoolby that Zipper and Sony do have other priorities. But that still doesn't mean that they can't give something to Socom every once in a while.

umm it doesnt matter if they have other priorities.. they mine as well sell the company to someone else whos main priority would be to take care of the socom community..
there are many other FREE online games that the developer actually checks back more then once in a while.. and for the people whos gonna say WELL GO PLAY THAT GAME.. umm I DO! im just saying socom can become an even bettter game if the developers or who ever thats incharge if socom just puts more time into it..

i totally wouldnt mind paying for socom. They should have a free server and a pay server. 10 bucks a month or so seems reasonable. The pay server could be monitored and if there were any people cheating, they could get banned for a month or so. (a week ban is a joke). They get caught again, they are banned for good. There could be updates and maps to download and they could fix all the issues with the game, like the disconnects. If you dont want to pay, hey, there could always be the free server that is so filled with flaws.
