If socom 4 switches to first person is that ok with you?
i doubt i would even play socom if they swiched from third person. Its one of the main reasons why i play socom, i dont know of any other games in third person.
yeah I am in the same boat as you. There are two many first person shooters out there, Socom one of a very few, is thrid person which what makes socom socom. I would probably have to quit socom is they switched, it wouldn't be socom anymore, it would just be another first person shooter.
I really don't know what your talking about. Socom is already first and third, it's called up or down on the d-pad. They aren't dumb enough to make it only an FPS.

We all know it is able to be played in first and third person know, but there is talk of it maybe going to only first person.

It would totally ruin what SOCOM has been about since the release of SOCOM I. Third person is only type of shooter I like to play. As I like to see my player running around the map. That just works for me.
Yeah I also enjoy some FPS. Halo (no flamming), some of the Tom Clancey games, things of this sort I enjoy to play. However socom is all about third person, thats why socom is so successful, because it went away from the majority (FPS), and became successful being a third person shooter. If they do make it a first person shooter, I really hope they still give you the option to go the classic third person as well. Socom now gives you that chance, but in the first person view you can't even see the gun in the screen. So if they do go for a real first person shooter look, and only that, I really would have to think twice about continuing to play socom.
