Al Gore: An Inconvenient Truth

I watched this at my house, then the next day we watched it in school. It is very fascinating and quite frankly, it scared the hell out of me. Discuss.

Even if global warming was occuring, it'd be more than 50 years for any HUGE difference...

See, you'v been brainwashed by one opinion, and just because hes a proffesional, you fully beleive it.

Their are different opinions on global warming, and you can't go by just one.

IMO, Global warming is something that should be dealt with, but theres not really something we can do about it, until we get stuff like air-driven cars.(A few hae already been made) and stuff like driving is just a fracture of the cause for global warming, one volcanoe eruption releases hundreds times more greenhouse gases then everony driving for a day.

Actually, there is stuff that we can do. Recycling, coserving energy, driving less, LOTS of things. Stay up real late sometimes and watch Think MTV, they'll tell you loads of ****.

Or, go to think.mtv.com

And btw, volcanos erupting isn't an everyday thing.

Thats what one person could do, now what are the chances of getting 70% of the world to do it?

The problem is, when people get told that..they think "Oh, I'm just one person, if I don't do it, it won't make a difference.", and nearly every person thinks that, thus no one, or few recycle or try to help the enviorment. For recycling, conserving energy, driving less, etc. to be truely effective, we would need mass amounts of people to do it.

And think about this..is it REALLY global warming? ?The earth goes through cold stages and warm stages, whether you beleive it or not, it does, and the enviorment has a natural cleansing process(Like how the water cycle cleans water), and this could just be very well another one of earths warm stages...

If anything, we should be worried about Peak Oil, and the destruction of enviorments more.

That's true. That is what this man is trying to tell the idiots out there. He's doing it so that people will actually try to prevent it and do something about it. But unfortunately people do not care. Al Gore is a good guy though, at least he's trying.
