Snipe Or Machine???

I was just wondering for online ranked games how many people prefer to snipe over using a machine or sub machine gun in the small level online... just curious... i know that it depends on the level and all but overall an average of what you do in all small levels is what i am asking about...?

Well since the sniper rifles are limited in range up too 200m anyhow, thats why you see sniping during the small maps. On some small maps you can snipe clear across the board, Devils Road small ring a bell "the map thats alway's called "SNIPE NO X". Still I have clan battled many times during Fault "one of the most confined maps in socom" and if the clan picks seals you can count on a couple of people alway's laying up on that ledge in there seal spawn with guess what type of weapon? a sniper rifle.

I prefer sniping, if you could call it that???, it's really the wrong thing to say in how it's actually used in SOCOM. I use the M87 or the M82, alway's. And I alway's scope in and drop guys that where easily in pistol range, but why bother when the M87 and M82 are one shot kill weapons, plain and simple!. It's funny really when I am up against an opponent and they are all running with there spray and pray weapons, I can hear the shots hitting all around me, and I just scope in and fire, BOOM!, tango down, it really is that simple. Give it a try you will see what I mean.

Personally I need room to roam to snipe. I almost always use machine guns in maps like fault I think its better in CQC situations. In more open maps i make break out the rifle to keep people guessing. However I definatly prefer machine gunning to sniping.
