I'm tired of people like you.
If you don't like it don't ****ing listen to it. It's that easy.
I don't listen to rock because I don't like it. I don't talk bad about it.

In my opinion, all modern rap is is the guys who find a cool beat for the music that sounds good and catchy, and then they add some lyrics about gangster stuff. They're just techno mix artists basically.
But techno doesn't sell as well.
Techno + Guns/drugs/h0es = Riches and Fame.
lol, unnastaynd?

I think Kanye West could be thrown into that.

You should hear "Gone" and a few others by Kanye, that aren't so radio-played.

Nope. Its imposed onto me by peers and family. I dont have much of a choice. Also Its fu<king up hip-hop. As well as giving it a bad image to those who havent heard old, good stuff, and wont even give it a chance due to radio-played crap. Friends of mine who love it say that Wu-tang and Nas and old good stuff sucks. But if it wasnt for them, the innovative ones, there wouldnt be these guys today. I dunno, but its just gotten ridiculous. I draw the line at "Chains Hang Low", sooo many people loved it and it was sooo weak.
And when I say Nas, i dont mean his new album. That wasnt all that impressing, i mean old stuff.
And Wu-Tang is still out there, individually, and are coming out with a new album altogether in late '07. But unless stuff changes, it wont get played on many radio stations, at least around here. "Jammin 94.5, Boston's Source for hip-hop", THEE station for it, only plays these crap songs, and everyone listens and loves them, and has no idea what they say. Thats my point.

Welcome to the world of Classic Rock lovers. Its not just rap that is putting out thes crappy generic artists. When I look at the modern mainstream rock lineup all I can do is shake my head in dissapointment. With the Emo/Screamo/Alternative craze dominating the world of rock these days I wonder how people can listen to it. Before someone comes in here and starts defending those genres, its my opinion not fact. I also think that there are good bands these days in rock but they are much harder to find then they were 30 years ago.

I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to Nightbringer I should have quoted him.
I hate people like him. Who listen to rock and bad talk rap.
oh I am most defiantly a Wu-Tang fan. They are from Staten Island. They are like the only famous rap group from there.

Well sue me for expressing my opinion, hmm, wasn't Freedom of Speech one of the first rights listed in the First Ammendment? I beleive so.
I'm bad talking CURRENT MAINSTREAM rap, because its all sh*t IMO, old-school and underground rap lyrics don't always contain the garbage filled lyrics, I find it rather funny you "Hate" me, because of what I listen to and my opinion.

Look at your sig Night, kind of gives the impression you hate all rap and don't consider it "real" music (whatever all the hell that means, last time I checked all music was real).
I think this is going to be atleast the 8th rock vs rap thread since I joined. Oh well we haven't had one in a while.

Well, I do hate most of rap, at least 95% of it. And other rappers, that I have respect for/don't mind, are still rappers I don't listen to, so I listen to absolutely no rap.
I consider some rap "Real" music, but a good majority of it not.
I'm not going to explain what I mean by "Real", because you should know what I mean by it, hopefully you were being sarcastic.

So why are you posting in a thread Popular Hip Hop?
If you don't listen then stay out and stop bad mouthing. Am just so sick if people like you. If the topic doesn't concern you stay out of it. You don't see us bugging you in the Rock and Emo threads.
