Creating a SOCOM account

So, I just set up my PS2 for playing online, and thought I'd start playing Socom online, but I need help logging in/creating an account. I get to the "connect to socom" screen, and I thought you can jjst create an account from there with the name/password you wanted, but apperently, you can't because everytime I click connect, it gives me "the password supplied does not match the registered password for this player name."

So what I'm asking here is, how do I create an account to log in and start playing online?

Getting the message "The password supplied does not match the registered password for this player name" means the player name is already taken. You were doing it properly, but, again, just putting in names that had already been registered.

This is because someone already has that account name.

Try something more unique by adding either, - , _ , or a period.
