Winter Break Homework
What did all of the other kiddies here have to do for homework over the break?
I got some Physics stuff (a few worksheets or something. I'm not looking forward to doing them since I forget how to do Physics about three days after I learn it) and a project in History.
The History project is large but not hard. I have to cut and paste 400 paragraphs into a scrapbook which I can then use during the test we're having after the break. I think that the project is stupid because cutting and pasting is no way to study the terms nor learn the new ones. I also dislike open-book tests such as this one although without the scrapbook I wouldn't do very well (a large number of the terms are ones that we haven't covered before).
I'd simply ignore the project like I normally would and rely on excellent test marks to bring up my average, but this is too large a project and at least I can watch my Priest and KISS DVDs while I do it.

I had a few Chemistry questions. I also had to watch a movie from a list of movies for History. The only big thing I had for homework was to read the rest of a book and have 10 quotes-n-notes. Of course I scanned through the book and did the notes all last night since they were due today lol.
I have no homework today!

Well I go back to school in less than 12 hours, but I didn't get any homework over the break.
At least I don't think I did. If I did, it was only to read a book. If I did, I didn't do it.
I got an A in my English final despite falling asleep half way through it. My popularity with the teacher will at least get me off the hook with winter break homework.

I had to write a 5 page paper on the book, A Tale Of Two Cities. I also had to do a Math A Regents take home test (New York State Test). And to add to all of that I had another paper, but that isn't due till the end of the month and that has to be 10-15 pages long. It can be on anything so it should be really easy.

I start school on Friday, oddly enough. I only have Contracts II and Civil Procedure II though because Constitutional Law canceled class. I'm taking 3 other classes this semester as well and I have some reading homework in each of them. I've had a huge stack of books on my desk all break and I'll have to crack each of them open by next Monday.
Cleverly, it's never called homework in law school... It's more like "do it if you want to stay here" kind of work.

Yeah... sounds just like art school... they never call it "homework" there either.
I luck out over any kind of break from school (spring, summer, or winter)... since I go to school for video game art and design, my only "homework" is to play video games!!!
(School resumes for me next Monday, January 8th.)

I had plenty of things to do. Loads of summaries and an essay for Wethersfield Studies. Current Issues I had to do a presentation, and for Digital Photography I had to do a cubism project.
I did most of that, but I spent more of my time working on my final senior project or English. Basically it's a 35 minute presentation on cruelty. I have to use a minimum of 15 sources (I've got twenty something) ranging from books, to plays, to movies, to poems, to music, to magazine/newspaper articles. I then have to explain why I chose the topic of cruelty, a bit too personal to post on here. Also i have to write a paper to accompany this, it'll probably round out being about 15 pages or so, if I can keep it short. I have a tenancy to over do things I actually want to do.
Basically, I'm showing some incredibly powerful movie scenes, reading a few passages from a couple books, and playing a few songs, and one last 6 minute song that will blow my class away.
I'm excited to do school work for the first time... ever.
