While I think the petition is a good idea, I too am skeptical. What I am sure of however is that I do not want to see this thread turn into the ultimate spam fest. On the other hand I'm not going to go through this and clean it out because I have better things to do. From here on out discuss the petition and nothing more. Do not simply post "Hey guys! I signed it! lol." If you do I'll delete it and send an infraction (I am aware that you are all shaking in your boots because I mentioned the word "infraction"). Thanks and have a nice day.

so all the people who have signed this petition think every time you log on socom 3 and ca that you are thwarting your own petition and wants for future socom releases.

Now why would you go and point out the obvious to the children. Let them continue to think they matter and they will stay in their corner and play out of the way of the adults. Just wait until they grow up and realize how silly their little petition is and that the bottom line in the buisness world is the all-mighty dollar. I would never put my signature to something so stupid and can assure you that Sony and Zipper will continue to do what they think is right.

****k socom 1 quit bitchin if you dont know how to play the newer versions. Why would they ever make a socom 1.5? When they can simply fix things like this with patches nowadays?

Let's start off with a little basic information for you there Sir Sper.

I > you at S3 or CA any minute of any day.
[S3], when we played... > your clan
Rushing > you campers

Basically what I'm saying is, just because we like s1/s2 better than socrap 3/ca doesn't mean we suck at the latter. It's most often the other way around, people who like s3/ca blew at s2 because it took skill.

Lmao, because Zipper doesn't release patches. Look at some of the stuff zipper has 'fixed'

ranks (yeah gj zip)
Stats (above)
Switching bodies when round is over (How/why did this need 'fixing'?)

What else has zipper fixed? OH! Nothing important. Ok, invisible ghilles, gj zipper, one thing.

Freezings
disconnects
sponges
glitches
rank ups
soft spots
exploits

Are still at large as they are in s2 or s1, Zipper doesn't release patches to fix anything.

You can add the wall slide to the list of few worthwhile things they actually fixed in Socom 2.

I'm thinking the reason Zipper didn't release more patches for Socom 2 is because they were limited by the size of the memory card. Doesn't the current patch take up 5-6 meg already(or it's closer to 2meg and I'm wayy off)? Considering how small the things they fixed were, I'm guessing it would take a lot more than 8meg to cover many of the larger exploits and glitches. While they will be able to do this on the PS3, we'll never have a game like Socom 2 to take advantage of the hard drive.

Yeah but not everyone owns a flashdrive or harddrive for the Ps2. They can't release a patch unless everyone is able to use it online.
