PlayStation 3 online community thread
I want to play with some friends. Post what games you have, your game tag, and how often/what times you play. I know this topic is similar to the "post your PSN name" thread, but I'm trying to bring all the PS3 owners together here. I'm thinking of starting up a party in Resistance... If possible S3 sponsored.

If you don't have a PS3 and can afford one, look around, i found like 12 today (online and in walmart... all 60 gigs)

Also, how do you work the voice chat in resistance? I try unplugging my mic and when i put it back in i hear a muffled noise when it connects, but i have pressed every button, held them, and shaken the hell out of my controller, all to no avail. Didn't find it in the manual either and never heard anyone talking. Would greatly appreciate it, I really need it for CTF (which, btw, kicks ***)

Sounds like a good idea. I'm down for some Resistance playing online with some fellow forumers. It's so damn fun!

I can't figure that out yet, either... Maybe I should read the book it comes with...

I'm told it's L3 for the mic. But if you join a squad, it's open mic.
You can also use a Bluetooth Headset from your phone, just have to pair it in the System Settings or something.
:( I don't have a PS3. Neither do I have 600$, but my online ID is Conflicted

I tried L3 and didnt hear anything, nor did i see how to use it in the book.
I'm using the original socom 1 mic (which i have had for over a year now. Well worth the money, tough as nails).
Could resistance not have talk features???? NOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Don't let it be so!!

You can use headsets on Resistance. Your problem is either your headset is broken or you aren't playing with any one that talks.
Own Resistance: Fall of Man and Call of Duty 3.

I am considering purchasing a Bluetooth headset to use because I want one for my phone anyway. I'd be happy to test it out once I get it!

I think i know what was wrong. I went under settings in the XMB and scrolled down to what i think was "audio options" and the option to enable mic use was there. I'll detail it tomorrow if i remember.

ooh, does this mean you've gotten it to work? Messing with the audio settings seem simple enough. Maybe I'll try it out next year (Now only 19 hours away!) It will definately make online play a lot better, I think. I've only played twice and it seems just very chaotic and fast paced.
