A REAL sniper doesnt have look speed, and he can't change his settings. Also he can't jump with a sniper rifle in his hands (Exception of Chuck Norris). Aside from that in the gameany settings that work the best for someone they should probably use them, if you're in a qs battle with someone and they have 100-100-50 settings and you have 0-0-0 settings because you're hard as hell and you get raped he still wins.

There's this whole thing where people say you're a noob for having these settings, and using this scope. Well if they kill your *** you're still dead no matter how much of a noob you think they are.

Darken please don't take this as an attack on you because it by no means is. Everyone says the same things.

All that being said my settings are now right around 20-20-20. Cus it makes gunning easier, but I do still qs alot. /Rant.

Anyway, I never QS w/ a thermal. I don't QS much, actually, but when i did, I used the High-Medium-4X scopes. I don't know why, but I had better luck w/ the 4x and high than the medium and thermal. I think it's that damned red dot in the middle that throws me off.

I just recently got voted out of a game for quick sniping with a sasr is it the gun or the scope people hate?? cause i keep gettin called a noob when i join quick snipe games

you get voted out because it QS rooms its too easy to take out other guys with a SASR...all you have to do is bum rush continually firing ur SASR to take the them out. No skill required.

There's nothing wrong with using a certain scope to kill someone. I used to hit shots with a thermal that most people couldn't hit with a high scope. A high scope simply takes more skill in most situations. You can't fling it across an entire map when you're jumping or during a quick index.

That's if he runs around trying to shotgun people..even if you jump snipe with it, people don't like it..you can jump and shoot, jump and shoot, jump and shoot consistantly..with an M87/M82, you jump and shoot, and have to wait for the reload..so people don't like the faster rate of fire compared to you..you can probably fire off 3 shots before someone with a OSK rifle can fire off 2 shots..

I think if you time it right you can get 2 shots off in one jump, but it still has scope kick doesn't it? So the chance of the second one hitting is...?

I never QS with a SASR/SR-25... and that IS why you were voted out. Do you have a mic and listen? Most if not all QS rooms are M87/M82 only. Even if you dont only shotgun with the SR you still would get voted out. I was in a room before and a guy had a SR-25 and was jump scoping and getting headshots, never saw him get one body shot, and he was still voted out. He didn't shotgun at all but it was the fact that he was using a SR. Next time pick up a M87/M82, don't be stupid... if you were voted twice, you should learn from your mistake.

Lol, at the guy that said REAL snipers don't have settings as "100-100-100". Who does or would? That would be extremly difficult. Deadzone should never be that high.

To The OP: I apologize if I sounded like an idiot/douche in the begining of my post. I did realize you didn't know and I only meant to inform you about your situation, and what was going on in the rooms you were being voted out of. So yeah, sorry about that.
