As far as employee discounts go, I used to work for Outback Steakhouse and got 50 % off of Food, which I thought was a steal, and actually kept me there for a while, among other things . But the way I see it Car Salesman get discounts on cars, and employees at electronic store of any kind should get something off, even if it's an insulting 5%. Greed is rampant anymore and it disgusts me.

The sky is soon to fall! For once I disagree with you Nun!
I think credit cards are the devil and while EB Games I'm sure would benefit
greatly from the interest of the cards (lenders make a TON of money), it would be a grave social disservice to put even more Americans in debt who really can't afford the system to begin with. If you can't afford it, don't buy it!

And also with the employee discount thing, the PS3 is like Apple Products. Retailers are given no choice but to sell the system for the price they get it for, so now what? We're expecting them to lose money for their employees and basically pay the employees to buy the system? I can't blame the owners for that. High profit items, on the other hand - like big screen TVs, are a horse of a different color.
